For once, I'm thinking about my own happiness. Life's great like this (:
Finally seen someone's true colours. It came out pretty nasty. Seems like someone has a better uglier mask than me when I thought my mask was only put t good use like hiding my true emotions, but ney some people just misuse their masks. I feel sympathetic for them, but then I shall not think too much about it before my heart goes soft again. Hiakhiakhiak y'all know what I'm talking about here.
I wasn't stupid to leave, and nopes I'm not going to turn back. I might regret if I look back! I'm happy the way I am now. I didn't change. I learnt how to cope matters in a reasonable way. If I need to cry, yes I'll cry to myself. If I need a hug, I have friends I know who will hug me back. If I fall, I will cross my fingers wishing there will be someone to catch me ^^ But then again, if there isn't, it's okay. I'm always clumsy and trippin' on my feet, so when do I not fall and pick myself up?
Man, I'm glad I didn't like stay blind forever. I like my life now. Pretty pink and full of rainbows. Just how I like it. I wonder when will my dinosaur egg hatch mwahahahaha ^^

 Everyone had nicknames to be drawn on our U20s shirt. Thanks to CC for my shirt (L) It's finally raining in Singapore. I didn't miss the rain in Aussie cos' the weather was temperamental. Wind, Rain, Sun. All at one go! Supposed to go fly kite with MY, E, R and idk who else but circumstances wasn't on our side. I want dim sum! And I wanna go Sentosa. I got so many things I wanna do in my holidays before it ends. Seriously. I just need company to fulfill them. Recently, even at aussie, I have been thinking about alot of things. The biggest on my mind is my usual big thought long ago. About being a hermit and hide under my shell. Still thinking how, but another thought came to me, I shouldn't hide away. It will be bold enough for me to fight the evil creatures of the night, and then head back to my hermit shell to sleep (: At the end of the day, my friends are the ones who keep me going. No particular group, just all my friends. Without friends, I wouldn't know who got my back and who will catch me if I fall. As long as you're my friend, Thanks alot earthlings. I was just thinking, its always so hard when you know how to fix the lives of the other people but you don't know how to fix yours. Sometimes, a listener needs a better listener too; True that! I need a better listener and sometimes, I just need a hug. I don't need much, cos' there's nothing anybody can do. Got something off tumblr. It is very true. Hugging is a good medicine. It transfers energy and gives the person hugged an emotional lift. You need four hugs a day for survival, eight for maintenance, and twelve for growth. Scientists say that hugging is a form of communication because it can say things you don't have the words for. And the nicest thing about a hug is that you usually can't give one without getting one. |

  The Sharks; Our best game ever in the crappiest field condition & weather 1 week getaway from all the SG heartaches/nonsense was not enough. I need more getaways. A longer one. Perhaps one with no return-trip ticket? It was sure one happy week. Though I felt most of the time we were acting a comeback for Rush Hour movie. Everytime I receive a text from SG, it makes me smile (: Watching how the aussies play their simple game with their speed inspires me. I'd love to go on another trip with my friends. I have no regrets for going (: Thank God I didn't back out, which I did consider before. I miss Aussie for these list that can run on forever...

We're going to keep this short and sweet (Frank and birthday vgifts will be back next week). You've probably seen the updates to our main menu. Don't be alarmed. You'll find everything you need, just in slightly shifted format. Just so you know, we based these changes on input from both experienced and new users who were not familiar with LiveJournal. Our goal was to reduce barriers to usability and make LiveJournal more accessible and easy to navigate. Please note that this is a work in progress. We welcome your detailed suggestions in ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) feedback. We thank you, in advance, for helping us improve your LiveJournal experience.
We've updated the global navigation menu:
Here's a quick breakdown of what you'll find where:
- Scrapbook can now be found under Profile (thanks for your feedback, btw), along with Settings, Stats, and Edit Profile.
- You'll find all the tools you need to post and update entries under Journal, which includes posting and editing entries, managing comments and tags, and customizing your journal's style.
- Friends contains all of your friend settings, from filtering your Friends page to adding, removing, and finding new and existing friends on LiveJournal.
- Under Communities, you'll find links to manage your communities, accept community invites, and create new communities.
- Explore includes search features, RSS feeds, Question of the Day, and FRNK radio.
- Under Shop, you'll find links to upgrade or give a paid account, buy virtual gifts, purchase LiveJournal merchandise (like T-shirts), and view your payment history.
LiveJournal Mobile update:
We've enhanced LiveJournal's mobile site to improve usability and load times. We've made more of LiveJournal's features accessible via mobile, including posting comments, uploading photos, reading and commenting on friends' posts, finding and messaging friends, and more. We look forward to reviewing your feedback and recommendations for future improvements.
Other important changes:
- You can lock comments to prevent further commenting on a post, while leaving existing comments visible.
- We replaced the "Tell a friend" link with a new "Share This" widget that lets you share LiveJournal posts on other social media sites, including Facebook, Digg, Twitter, etc.
- We changed some of the icons on entries (you can hover over the icons to view descriptions).
- You'll see a Tag count on your Tag management page.
- You'll now see the 10 most recent vgifts on your profile page. To remove vgifts, left-click on the vgift and choose whether you want to remove the vgift from your profile or delete it entirely.
- We've added options to help you control receipt of vgifts, which you'll find in My Stuff under Edit Profile. You can now enable vgifts from friends or everyone and disable anonymous vgifts.
We've got your fix:
- UPDATE: Rolling several updates into one listing here -- 1) Scrapbook should be back and working again. 2) The problem with the Update Journal page in IE6 and IE7 should be fixed now. 3) The problem with the userpic add-on package pricing has been fixed and refunds issued to anyone who was overcharged while the erroneous prices were in place.
- Non-conforming images will now be automatically resized for custom mood themes.
- Line breaks no longer count as two characters against your entry's character limit.
- We fixed a bug on the Manage Tags page so you can clear all tags and add new tags.
- We corrected the UI for the update.bml page so it displays properly in IE8.

two days ago, i left singapore for work again.
on my way there, i plucked in my earphones & played this particular song,
it sounded so beautiful that i left it on repeat mode.
sitting by the window i looked out, the flaps chopped clouds,
they look like cotton wool, chunks & chunks of them,
then i start to imagine what is it like to jump on one of those, Wheeeee !
funny thing is that i am starting to get used to the culture and people here,
most of them seem like fantastic people.
you know, up till date, smile is still the best song ever.
that was our first, & the song is so right that it fits right into your hands.
sometimes its better not knowing anything, knowing can be torturous & might even drive you crazy.
.. so i guess the best thing is to ignore.
... oh well, two down, four more days to go,
& i am going back to that sunny island. |
